Sofia Din, M.D
Dr. Sofia Din is a board-certified Family Medical doctor who has been practicing Primary Care, Geriatrics, and Aesthetic Anti-aging for the past 15 years in New York.
An immigrant from Pakistan, she has written a book on the benefits of preventative anti-aging guidelines amongst glimpses of her experiences as a single mother while maintaining her businesses and medical career across continents and religious & cultural divides. During her medical career, she also served as the Medical Director of a Nursing Home for six years. Her theory and hypothesis that aging is a disease in itself, which leads to malfunction of our cells, eventually leading us to manifest conditions like heart disease, dementia, cancer, and osteoporosis, etc.
Dr. Din's work is based on the observation of patients and clients seen across various countries. She aims to start conversations about disease-free aging by starting anti-aging protocol and treatments, which she feels the people need to initiate as early as possible.
Since the FDA does not consider aging a disease (yet), all anti services are considered non-medical, and therefore Healthcare coverage is not granted. She feels that anti-aging is synonymous with disease-free aging and thus has also founded a Non-profit Foundation for single mothers called Hagar’s Foundation. It is solely devoted to improving the lives of single mothers by helping them obtain better jobs so they can afford essential anti-aging and health services for themselves and their kids. She considers single mothers a vulnerable segment of society that is at increased risk of falling under the poverty level.
Being an immigrant and a single mother herself, she recognizes that her degree as a doctor supported her financially, but she empathizes with those who do not have this capacity. The profits from Dr. Din’s book will be donated to Hagar’s Foundation.
Born and raised in Pakistan, Din graduated from RMC Medical College in Pakistan in 2001. She re-established herself as a medical doctor in America by taking all the requisite exams again and completed residency training in Family Medicine in St Joseph’s Hospital (affiliated with New York Medical College, NY). Dr. Din also specializes in Cosmetic Anti-aging & Obesity Management. She owns and manages two medical offices in Yonkers, the second largest city large city in Westchester, NY. Global Medical Services accepts medical insurances, and Juvanni Medical is entirely concierge and offers cutting edge anti-aging services that are not provided by regular MDs and are also not covered by health Insurances. Juvanni Med Spa also offers cosmetic and aesthetic treatments.
Dr. Din is regarded as one of the best injectors in Westchester, which she attributes to her first love for surgery and training while in Pakistan.
Dr. Din speaks multiple languages and is currently learning Mandarin. She enjoys meditation while snorkeling in the coral reef. (Her favorite is Maui). She is also a shameless tree whisperer and hugger. She loves to photograph birds during her personal time. Her second book is titled “Shame-less,” where she tells her story but also features the lives of 10 single mothers. She feels that single mothers have to cast away their shame to learn to not only survive but to flourish in all areas of their lives.
